Studio Tak is deeply rooted in the stories of my family, specifically drawing inspiration from my grandmother, Gloria. Had circumstances been different, she would have become an art teacher. Life led her on a different path, but her affinity for art never wavered. Even as she raised my father, her art textbooks remained her constant companions, reflecting her creative approach to parenting and life.

Our Danish lineage, fervently embraced by Gloria, plays a pivotal role in shaping my design ethos. A land that experiences the cold embrace of winter for half the year, much like Portland, Denmark has instilled in its people an innate appreciation for craftsmanship, coziness, and warmth. This brand is a homage to Gloria's artistic spirit and Denmark's cultural depth. It's more than just design; it's a journey through heritage and passion, intertwined with a message of gratitude: "Thank you."
